Diploma Program in Research Methodology and Biostatistics

  Admission and Registration

Admission requirements:

  • Applicants qualify for admission to Post-Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology and Biostatistics if they hold a bachelor degree from UMST or its equivalent.

Interview:

  • At the Program level, applicants shall be interviewed for assessment of their suitability, Knowledge and their reasonable command of English language which will enable them to study in English.

Computer Skills Requirements:

  • Applicants shall provide evidence of good computer skills. A candidate shall possess one of the following as evidence:

      1. Evidence of computer courses completed during undergraduate studies or postgraduate studies.

      2. Evidence of computer courses completed at approved and accredited institutes.

      3. UMST computer qualification Examination.

Application for Admission:

Applications for admission to graduate studies shall be submitted to the (GC) admission officer at the UMST Admission Office or through Online Application. Applicants who are eligible for admission shall be recommended for admission and applications shall be sent to Registrar of GC.

Registration:

A student shall be registered for the Diploma Program in Research Methodology and Biostatistics on the recommendation of Unit of Research and Biostatistics and approval of the Dean of Graduate College. No student shall be allowed to enroll in more than one program of study at the same time, in this University or for another program in another University. Each student is required to register for the whole duration of the program. No student is allowed to register unless he/she has paid the prescribed fees.
