Deans Message
Welcome to our advancing and innovative mass communication program which is designed
to provide a competitive education and professional training. Realizing the important
role of mass Media in an advancing technological revolution our goal and objectives
are to graduate high caliber graduate professionals who have the knowledge and skills
to occupy positions in the media industry. The faculty curriculum integrates information
technology into instruction.
Our students are at the focus of the learning process, and all our efforts are dedicated
to ensuring continued progress in the student's academic performance.
The program acquaint students with different mass communication discipline , and
also afford them the opportunity to choose a concentration among , print media,
broadcasting( radio& Television) and public relations and advertising.
Our Mission
The faculty aim to establish a reputable program among other programs in the region,
and prepare students to enter the new integrated media in a globalized world equipped
with knowledge and skills of different media and multimedia applications.
Our Vision
The Faculty of Communication science & Information Technology will be the leader
in Sudan and the region by providing communication excellence and prepare students
to succeed in the discipline of mass communication, we will:
• Provide students with broad and diverse course work in, journalism and new
media, public relations, advertising and broadcasting.
• Offer high-quality education which enable students to become critical thinkers
and effective ethical communicators.
• Use professional and innovative experiences and partnerships to prepare
students for successful communication careers.
• Maintain and keep strong relationships with alumni and community leaders
and government and media industry.
Our Objectives
• To provide media institutions with graduates with both academic knowledge
and professional skills.
• To graduates media practitioners with ability of objective and sound judgments.
• To prepare graduates to be leaders of the society with a high sense of media
ethics.
