The school follows a curriculum based on practical training given through lectures,

Practical training makes up 60% and 40% is assigned to theoretical studies. The
eighth batch will graduate this year with 15 graduates.
The total number of graduates is 28. The school has modern, well-equipped laboratories.

- it awards recognition to universities who meet their stringent requirements
- collaborates with British universities to provide bachelor degrees, a diploma
and short courses in Management
- UMST has a licence to represent this organisation in Sudan in Management and
Computer Science Programmes
- UMST is working in partnership with the University of Greenwich in London to
offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and to guarantee teaching quality
based on international standards.

6) Diploma in Research Methodology

The programme started in 2006. It aims to help Sudanese researchers and others
to conduct scientific research at an international level. Qualified teachers and
visiting scientists teach and develop the curriculum.
Duration of study: 6 months, consisting of theoretical and practical study.
This year there will be 300 graduates.
