Offering all the different medical specialities, this is the only hospital in Sudan
offering free services including surgical operations – elective and emergency,
obstetric and gynaecological operations and investigations, as well as ultrasounds
and x-rays for outpatients and inpatients. It is one of six hospitals in Khartoum
state recognised by the Sudan Board for Medical Specialisation for the training
of registrars. It provides services in 14 different medical specialties including
anaesthesia, laboratories, x-rays, urology, ophthalmology, dentistry, psychiatry,
orthopaedics, ENT and dermatology.
