The UMST is a private – non profit making University, in Khartoum Sudan, which
was established in 1996 to serve the educational needs of Sudanese, African and
Arab students. In a few years the University has expanded to include 11 faculties
namely, Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Dentistry, Dental Technology,
Nursing, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Radiology and
Anesthetic Sciences.
The vision on which the UMST was established, is to provide quality universe graduates.
Our belief is that recently government universities in the whole of Africa and the
Arab countries have deteriorated and are often faced with diminishing resources
both in human experts and material resources.
The UMST offers two master degrees in Nursing (community & pediatrics) and a
master degree in Public and Tropical Health. You will find under the various headings
details on the faculties, degrees offered by UMST and the supporting departments
and sciences departments.
